This book was a bit of a disappointment. The reviews were so glowing and I guess my expectations were a bit high. I never really connected with the characters although, having grown up in the Bay Area, I did enjoy reading about my old stompin' grounds. This is worth reading if only for the one or two really hilarious bits (i.e. the nude photo shoot on the beach).
