Extended Profile
Pysanky/folk artist, book aficionado. Former Charlestonian ( where thousands of books were registered and released) now delighted to be living in Philly. Also a former Wheel of Time licensed artist. Lover of fresh air, green spaces, fine coffee, & Javaczuk.
(Books released before July 28, 2021 were released when I lived in Charleston, SC.)
Philly street artist Amberella created the art in my profile picture.
I am the artist of Patterns of the Wheel: Coloring Art based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, a coloring book I did for Tor Books. Kind of ironic that the first book an avid reader comes out with is a coloring book, but it's based on a series so that makes it bookish!
For those who remember her, my mother was Bumma, a devoted reader and happy BookCrosser. I miss her every day.
Bookczuk is pronounced book-chuk, roughly as in "how many books could a bookczuk chuck
For those who are wondering, yes, I lived in Charleston SC for many, many, many years and we moved to Philly when the pandemic let us.
Charleston BookCrossers were thrilled to host the 2007 Convention, and the 2008 UnConvention, Redoing the Charleston. Thanks to all who helped and participated.
